• 1 contract | ASAP – 7 November 2026
• 1 contract | 5 December 2026 – 5 June 2027
• 1 contract | ASAP – 30 January 2027

The Role

Launceston General Hospital is a 400-bed accredited teaching hospital and the major referral centre for Northern and North West Tasmania.

Working within its fast-paced Emergency Department, you will provide high-level acute and emergency nursing care across all areas, including triage and resuscitation. You will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team while caring for patients with a wide range of presentations.

This opportunity is ideal for a confident and adaptable Emergency Nurse with strong clinical judgement who can quickly become part of a busy team.

Pay Rates – RN 1.8

All rates are paid per hour, plus superannuation.

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Recent Emergency Department experience
• Current Advanced Life Support certification
• Triage and resuscitation competency
• Ability to work a rotating roster
• Australian working rights
